Business Analyst – Sales Insights

About the role

The Business Analyst will empower district sales teams with data‑driven insights and localized sales analysis to support business planning, execution and decision‑making. You will translate retail intelligence into actionable recommendations, continuously track performance and spot opportunities that drive sales growth. This role sits at the intersection of analytics and commercial strategy, helping the business stay ahead of market trends.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales data to generate actionable local market insights that guide district strategies.
• Support the Country Commercial Manager with business planning activities and forecasting.
• Provide weekly sales performance insights and analysis across all sales teams.
• Monitor and track sales KPIs and performance metrics to ensure targets are met.
• Conduct localized deep‑dive analyses and trend reviews based on specific business requirements.
• Identify sales opportunities and risks, recommending corrective actions where needed.
• Review standard reporting packs and deliver recommendations to Sales Managers and District Managers.
• Support the sales team with day‑to‑day insights, reporting and Salesforce‑related requirements.

Required profile

• BCom Degree or related Business degree.
• 1 to 2 years of sales or commercial experience (advantageous).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting and sales performance monitoring (advantageous).
