Sales & Business Development Executive – Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an energetic and commercially driven Sales & Business Development Executive to expand our client base across Zanzibar’s hospitality sector. You will work directly with hotels, resorts, villas, developers and other hospitality projects, promoting a wide range of products such as linen, mattresses, bedding, bath items and uniforms.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach General Managers, Executive Housekeepers, Procurement Managers, owners and other decision‑makers.
• Arrange client meetings, site visits and product presentations.
• Understand client needs and propose suitable products and solutions.
• Prepare, send and follow up quotations and commercial proposals.
• Maintain regular communication with prospects and existing customers until opportunities are closed.
• Build long‑term relationships and uncover repeat‑order opportunities.
• Keep accurate CRM records, sales reports and pipeline data.
• Coordinate internally on pricing, samples, orders, deliveries and after‑sales support.
• Work independently in the field while providing clear reporting to management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within hospitality, hotel supplies or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and meet sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, highly organised and comfortable working independently.
• Willingness to be based full‑time in Zanzibar and to travel locally.
