Retail Supervisor (Fixed-Term)

About the role

One Acre Fund is seeking a Retail Supervisor on a fixed‑term basis to run its agricultural shop (Duka) in Tanzania. The supervisor will ensure a welcoming shopping environment, guide farmers to the right products and handle all sales transactions through mobile payment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a tidy and welcoming Duka, ensuring products are attractively displayed.
• Consult farmers, demonstrate merchandise and promote high‑impact agricultural inputs.
• Manage inventory in line with TOSCI, TPHPA and TFRA regulations, restocking and organising stock.
• Process customer payments via mobile platforms, keep accurate transaction records and comply with TRA regulations.
• Deliver exceptional customer service, providing tailored advice and fostering repeat visits.
