Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities at Snaxtra Foods' snack production plant in Dar es Salaam. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures that snack products are produced safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and monitor daily production schedules to meet target outputs.
• Assign tasks and supervise production staff, ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality assurance, and supply‑chain teams to minimise downtime.
• Track production performance, generate reports, and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Production Management, Food Science, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• At least 1 + year experience on a food or FMCG production line.
• Familiarity with semi‑automatic bakery or confectionery equipment is advantageous.
• Strong supervisory and communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, solve problems proactively, and maintain accurate records.
