About the role

We are looking for a motivated Administrative Assistant to support our fleet operations and office functions in Dar es Salaam. The role combines vehicle asset management, driver recruitment, data handling and general office administration.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain fleet asset registers, track insurance, inspections and maintenance, and produce regular status reports.
• Manage full‑cycle driver recruitment, including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, onboarding and file management.
• Oversee driver attendance, leave records and shift schedules.
• Register equipment and material movements, approve project material requisitions and conduct periodic stock counts.
• Collect operational data, assist in preparing weekly and monthly reports in Chinese and English, and maintain client, supplier and project databases.
• Handle office maintenance, procure supplies, receive visitors, translate documents and manage filing systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Proficiency in Chinese (HSK 4+), English (working knowledge) and Swahili.
• Preferred studies: Business Administration, Public Administration, Statistics, Accounting or Information Systems.
• Detail‑oriented, numerate and comfortable working with spreadsheets.
• Prior experience in data processing or report preparation is a plus.
• Graduates from the Confucius Institute at the University of Dar es Salaam are preferred.
