Packaging Operator

About the role

The Packaging Operator is responsible for running and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure consistent product quality, high throughput, and minimal waste. You will work on a dynamic production line, supporting brand and pack changes while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging processes, including machine start‑up, shutdown, and continuous running.
• Manage waste handling and perform in‑depth cleaning and first‑level maintenance.
• Monitor process performance, conduct quality checks, and adjust inputs as needed.
• Take corrective actions to address out‑of‑control situations.
• Support brand and pack changes and maintain a safe, healthy work environment.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• Alert and quick to respond to deviations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Team player, self‑starter, and effective communicator.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or equivalent trade test.
• Ability to work shifts in a packaging environment.
