Packaging Artisan

About the role

The Packaging Artisan is responsible for operating a designated process area in line with detailed work instructions. The role combines routine production tasks, non‑destructive quality checks, and basic maintenance to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of packaging equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the process area according to work instructions and safety standards.
• Perform required quality checks and record results in the appropriate system.
• Document waste, monitor trends and report any issues promptly.
• Execute short‑interval control documentation and respond quickly to production stoppages.
• Carry out in‑depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of machines as scheduled.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and escalate unresolved problems to the team leader.
• Participate in scheduled maintenance days, post‑mortems and continuous improvement activities.
• Apply 5S housekeeping principles and identify unsafe work practices for correction.

Required profile

• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Attention to detail for accurate recording of quality and waste data.
• Proactive attitude toward identifying and solving process issues.
• Willingness to work collaboratively with maintenance and production teams.

Required skills

• Process operation in a manufacturing environment.
