Multi-Technology Radio Planning Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Radio Planning Engineer with deep expertise across 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G radio access networks. You will design, dimension and support high‑quality radio networks from initial rollout through expansion and modernization, ensuring optimal coverage, capacity and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design GSM coverage and capacity layers, perform frequency planning (BCCH/BSIC) and interference analysis.
• Plan UMTS RF parameters, including PSC and UARFCN allocation, and manage soft/harder handovers.
• Develop LTE RF plans covering PCI, RACH/RSI, TAC, antenna tilt, azimuth and power settings, and support intra‑ and inter‑RAT mobility.
• Execute 5G NR planning for NSA and SA, configure SSB, beamsets, Massive MIMO and EN‑DC alignment.
• Maintain neighbor‑relation tables across all RATs, support legacy network optimization, and assist with refarming projects.
• Validate site readiness, contribute to greenfield rollouts, network expansions and modernization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in multi‑RAT radio network planning.
• Proven experience with greenfield deployments, network expansions and modernization projects.
• Additional training or certifications in RF planning, Nokia RAN technologies or wireless communications is a plus.
