IT Pre-Sales Professional

About the role

An ICT, networking and technology solutions company is looking for a proactive, self-driven IT Pre-Sales Professional to support its sales cycle. The role covers client engagement, solution presentation, tender handling and proposal preparation, and is based in a predominantly remote setup with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual and in-person meetings with clients to understand their technical and business needs.
• Organize product demonstrations, solution presentations and technical discussions with prospective clients.
• Prepare and submit tender documents, RFQs, RFPs and proposals, and manage the end-to-end tender submission through procurement portals.
• Support the development of ICT solutions such as networking, infrastructure, systems and security, together with technical teams.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, presentations and solution documentation.
• Research emerging technologies, market trends, competitor offerings and vendor solutions.
• Gather technical inputs and pricing from vendors, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain records of proposals, tenders and client engagements, and prepare periodic activity and pipeline reports.
• Take part in company-sponsored training and certification courses.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience or strong internship exposure in IT support, pre-sales, technical sales, networking or systems administration; fresh graduates with high learning agility and relevant exposure are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, able to engage clients and stakeholders.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting, with occasional client visits and site engagements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills, and strong written communication with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly in proposals and presentations.
• Comfort with online tender portals, digital documentation systems and collaboration tools.
• Able to organize virtual meetings, track timelines and meet strict submission deadlines.
