IT Enabled Service Lead - SAP

About the role

A manufacturing company, represented by its client, is looking for a highly skilled and proactive IT-enabled service lead to oversee the enhancement and support of SAP-based systems across its operations. The role covers configuring, optimizing and extending SAP solutions so they integrate smoothly across production, procurement, inventory, finance and HR functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the customization, configuration and implementation of SAP modules (procurement, inventory, production, sales, finance, HR and payroll) aligned with manufacturing workflows.
• Analyze business and production processes to identify and implement SAP-driven automation and efficiency improvements.
• Integrate SAP with in-house applications, data analytics tools and other business systems for seamless data flow.
• Manage data migration, system updates and data accuracy, security and accessibility across departments.
• Troubleshoot system errors, resolve transaction issues and maintain high system uptime through regular audits and controls.
• Conduct end-user training and develop manuals to improve SAP adoption.
• Monitor compliance of SAP processes with company policies, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Assess SAP updates and recommend enhancements, and work with cross-functional teams on reporting needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on SAP consulting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in SAP implementation, upgrades and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with system integration, process automation and supply chain optimization.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills and ability to train and support end-users.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in SAP modules MM, PP, SD, FI/CO and HR.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based ERP systems is highly desirable.
