Data Entry Operator (SAP)

About the role

A client in the manufacturing industry is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Operator to support data management on the SAP platform. The operator ensures accurate and timely entry of master and transactional data across SAP modules, maintains data integrity, supports reconciliations, generates reports and helps with audit readiness. The role suits someone who can work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and validate master data (vendor, material, employee records) in SAP
• Post transactional data such as GRNs, invoices, payroll entries and production logs
• Maintain data integrity across MM, FI, HR and PP modules
• Support reconciliation of SAP entries with physical records and Excel trackers
• Generate and share SAP reports by departmental requirement
• Flag and escalate data inconsistencies or system issues
• Assist in data audits and data clean-up
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for timely data input

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field
• 2-4 years of experience in data entry or SAP-related roles
• Prior experience in manufacturing, HR or finance data entry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of audit and compliance protocols
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
