Integrated Management Systems Associate

About the role

The Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Associate will support JTI’s manufacturing site by developing, implementing and continuously improving the IMS that integrates ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and related standards. You will ensure the system meets legal requirements, drives performance and fosters a culture of quality, safety and environmental stewardship.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, document and maintain IMS procedures, work instructions and records.
• Plan, coordinate and lead internal and external audits, including certification audits.
• Conduct risk assessments, monitor mitigation actions and report on compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement projects and monitor key performance indicators.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions on IMS requirements.
• Manage document control and records management systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience managing IMS and ISO standards in a manufacturing environment.
• Professional ISO Lead Auditor certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 preferred).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Swahili.
