ICT Partner Sales Manager (Government and Enterprise)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic ICT Partner Sales Manager to lead our government and enterprise channel ecosystem in Tanzania. The role focuses on building and operating a local ICT partner network, collaborating with partners to deliver high‑impact procurement projects across the public, finance and education sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Expand and maintain relationships with leading ICT system integrators and solution providers, establishing a tiered partner collaboration system.
• Develop partner enablement and development plans, working with internal technical and sales teams to provide product training, solution support and bidding assistance.
• Conduct regular partner project benchmarking, resolving commercial, delivery and compliance issues to ensure sustainable relationships.
• Collaborate with partners throughout all stages of government and enterprise projects, from initiation and bidding to evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Identify project opportunities in government, education and finance sectors and match Huawei ICT products and solutions to improve bid success rates.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans using data communication, storage and virtualization solutions to achieve annual targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the ICT industry.
• At least 3 years dedicated to channel partner management or enterprise/government sales.
• Established networks with leading local ICT companies, core system integrators and government service providers.
• Deep familiarity with Tanzania’s government procurement processes, PPRA bidding regulations and project operational models.
• Solid foundation in ICT technology, including servers, storage, networking and data‑center solutions.
• Ability to deliver solution presentations independently and articulate clear value propositions.
