GA VAN Sales Representative

About the role

The GA VAN Sales Representative will be responsible for driving sales of assigned SKUs across a defined territory. Working on a permanent journey plan, the role focuses on achieving sell‑out targets, maintaining product availability, and building strong trade relationships with customers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily sales calls according to the permanent journey plan and meet SKU‑specific sell‑out targets.
• Review performance at the end of each route, compare results with IQ recommendations and adjust plans accordingly.
• Ensure trading terms are applied, achieve numeric distribution and implement in‑store merchandising standards.
• Manage product quality by rotating stock, preventing expiry, and replacing damaged goods per trade return policy.
• Visit all customers on schedule, communicate price updates and maintain good trade relations.
• Maintain accurate sales administration, submit reports via mobile, and reconcile daily sales and cash float.

Required profile

• Certificate in Sales & Marketing or a related field.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• At least 6 months experience in FMCG sales.
• Strong selling, customer service, time‑management, planning and communication abilities.
