Finance Specialist

About the role

The Finance Specialist will manage end‑to‑end financial processes for Huawei projects, acting as the primary financial liaison with key customers. This role ensures accurate budgeting, accounting, KPI monitoring, and risk mitigation while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project estimates, review contract financial clauses, and manage KPI reporting for major accounts.
• Analyze customer financial statements to assess creditworthiness and identify risks.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, tracking, and final accounting to ensure timely project closure.
• Monitor project execution against financial targets and report variances.
• Identify financial risks such as collection delays, credit exposure, and currency fluctuations, proposing mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with Huawei internal controls and local statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with Sales, Delivery, Legal, and Project Management teams to align financial and operational goals.
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5+ years of experience in finance data processing within telecom, construction, large‑scale infrastructure, or project‑based environments.
• Hands‑on experience with estimation, budgeting, accounting, final accounting, tax, collections, credit assessment, and insurance.
• Previous customer‑facing finance roles such as account finance, credit analyst, or customer finance.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation, charts).
• Ability to process, clean, and analyze large volumes of financial data.
• Strong understanding of financial clauses in commercial contracts (payment terms, penalties, etc.).
