Finance Executive

About the role

The Finance Executive acts as the local finance lead and primary liaison between the company’s headquarters, the Global Services Centre for Finance, and local operations. This senior position ensures the integrity of financial records, compliance with tax and statutory requirements, and provides strategic financial partnership to the country’s management team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee local accounting, tax filing, audited financial statements and ensure all statutory deadlines are met.
• Serve as the bridge between HQ Finance, GSC‑Finance and local teams, coordinating daily accounting and procurement processes.
• Partner with the country PIC and senior management on budgeting, cost management, monthly P&L reviews and financial performance monitoring.
• Direct the work of local finance & accounting staff, external auditors, and appointed accounting firms.
• Monitor and enhance financial controls, escalating material issues to Internal Audit and the CFO.
• Evaluate balance sheets, notes to accounts, and address abnormalities with business partners.
• Manage accounts receivable aging and coordinate credit actions.
• Conduct cost reviews to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance, accounting, tax compliance and statutory reporting.
• Strong understanding of local accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and act as a finance business partner.
• Experience supervising finance teams, external auditors and service providers.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
