About the role
The Field Sales Supervisor is responsible for driving sales turnover within an assigned territory while ensuring product availability at the lowest possible cost. The role leads a team of Field Sales Representatives (FSRs), monitors performance, and collaborates closely with distributors and client account teams to meet growth targets.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve set sales objectives and break down daily/weekly targets for the team.
- Monitor weekly sales performance, provide feedback, and take corrective action when needed.
- Manage distributor relationships and ensure alignment with joint business plans.
- Oversee route‑to‑market retail programs and demand‑creation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, expenditure tracking, and asset management (including HHT devices).
- Conduct regular performance reviews (RAG) and quarterly business reviews with clients.
- Address customer queries, ensure timely order dispatch, and uphold service standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience in field sales management or a similar supervisory role.
- Strong people‑management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
- Excellent analytical abilities to track targets, budgets, and market trends.
- Ability to work closely with distributors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with HHT (Hand‑Held Terminal) devices for sales operations.
