Employee Ambassador – Hotel Onboarding & Engagement

About the role

The Employee Ambassador will act as the Iberostar Employer Brand representative within the new Iberostar Selection Zanzibar 5* hotel. You will ensure new hires are welcomed, integrated quickly, and supported throughout their daily work life, fostering a positive and engaging workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate fast, role‑specific onboarding for new team members during their first days.
• Provide personalized follow‑up at onboarding milestones and gather feedback to improve the integration process.
• Promote employee well‑being, motivation and engagement through initiatives defined by the Engagement Center of Expertise.
• Identify training needs and guide staff to resources on Iberostar CAMPUS and career advancement options.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact, routing suggestions, concerns or improvement ideas to Management or HR.
• Monitor work climate, turnover and absenteeism indicators and propose action plans with Management and the Ambassador Coordinator.
• Assist with work‑climate surveys, analyse results and help develop department‑specific action plans.
• Conduct exit interviews, record findings and encourage completion of exit surveys.
• Oversee the condition of staff facilities such as locker rooms, common areas and the employee cafeteria, reporting standards to Management.

Required skills

• Experience with onboarding processes and employee integration.
• Familiarity with conducting surveys and analysing workplace data.
• Knowledge of training platforms and career development resources.
