Driver – Transportation Support for NGO Staff

About the role

The Driver will provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for Trees for the Future staff, partners, visitors, and goods in Simiyu (Bariadi), Tanzania. This role supports field teams by ensuring vehicles are ready for program activities and logistical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Transport staff, partners, visitors, and organisational assets safely and on schedule.
• Support field operations with logistics for program implementation, monitoring, training, workshops, and community engagements.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, security, roadworthiness, and overall condition.
• Record vehicle mileage, fuel consumption, servicing, repairs, and utilisation data accurately.
• Comply with traffic laws, road‑safety regulations, organisational policies, and vehicle documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with staff, vendors, mechanics, and service providers as needed.

Required profile

• Legally authorised to work in Tanzania.
• Based in Simiyu (Bariadi) or able to work locally.
