Chief Information Officer

About the role

Egis is seeking a Chief Information Officer to define and drive the information system strategy, digital transformation agenda, and cybersecurity governance for a major airport. The CIO will ensure secure, robust, and future‑ready IT services that support operational excellence and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the medium‑ and long‑term IT strategy aligned with airport business objectives.
• Establish IT governance frameworks, standards, and enterprise architecture across all systems.
• Develop and oversee a multidisciplinary IT team, setting objectives and optimizing processes.
• Define cybersecurity strategy, manage risk posture, ensure compliance with aviation regulations, and coordinate incident response.
• Plan and prioritize IT investments to deliver ROI and support digital transformation.
• Ensure integration and interoperability of core airport systems such as AODB, CUPPS, FIDS, ERP, CMMS, and security platforms.
• Implement data governance frameworks and promote data‑driven decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary IT teams in complex environments.
• Strong leadership in IT strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture.
• Deep knowledge of aviation IT systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience in cybersecurity governance, risk assessment, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
