Brewing Operator

About the role

The Brewing Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of key brewing processes, including wort cooling, yeast management, and filtration. You will work on the brew house, fermentation, and filtration plants to ensure consistent product quality while supporting continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brew house, fermentation, and filtration plants according to standard procedures.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and apply 5S principles to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Support the creation and documentation of standard work procedures and quick‑fix routines.
• Carry out quality checks, record results in the information system, and apply problem‑solving techniques when issues arise.
• Escalate unresolved problems to the Team Leader and participate in shift hand‑overs.
• Conduct autonomous maintenance tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop fellow team members on technical skills and best practices.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Food Science.
• Basic PC literacy, preferably with Microsoft Office applications.
• Logical, analytical thinker able to work in an unstructured environment.
• Team‑player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Mechanical/Electrical engineering knowledge.
• Food Science fundamentals.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Operation of brewing processes (wort cooling, yeast management, filtration).
• Quality control and analysis techniques.
• 5S workplace organization.
• Problem‑solving methods such as 5 Why and quick‑fix routines.
