About the role

Join a leading family‑owned hospitality group as an Assistant Housekeeping Manager at a new 5‑star beachfront resort in Zanzibar. You will support the Housekeeping Manager in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, guest comfort, and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily cleaning of guest rooms and public areas performed by room attendants and cleaners.
• Assist in creating departmental schedules, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
• Monitor productivity and quality standards, ensuring full compliance with brand guidelines.
• Handle guest requests, special amenities, and decoration activities.
• Manage inventory, replenish supplies, and conduct regular stock checks.
• Step in for the Executive Housekeeper when absent, distributing tasks and organizing work in public areas.
• Analyze daily operations, report incidents, and suggest service improvements.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience as an Assistant Executive Housekeeper or a similar housekeeping role.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and work collaboratively within a team.
• Strong motivation and commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences.
• Relevant training or certification in housekeeping management is highly valued.
