Training Manager - Hospitality

About the role

The Residence Zanzibar is looking for a Training Manager to design, run and evaluate training programmes for its various departments. The role also involves leading and mentoring junior trainers and supporting staff development.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive training programmes for the different departments.
• Carry out training needs assessments, prepare training materials and deliver training sessions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes using various methods.
• Lead and mentor a team of junior trainers.
• Monitor employee progress and give continuous feedback and coaching.
• Keep up with industry trends and best practices to improve training.

Required profile

• 3-5 years of experience in training or learning and development within the hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proven ability to create and deliver training content in person, virtually and through e-learning.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
