Territory Execution Manager

About the role

Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited, a manpower management solutions firm operating across Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan, is recruiting a Territory Execution Manager on behalf of its Tanzanian client. The role implements sales strategies within distributor territories and oversees all territory sales activities to ensure market development and sales targets are achieved. The position is open to locals only.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the distributor's sales teams and implement sales strategies and joint business plans to meet annual targets
• Carry out trade visits, manage door-to-door distribution of all SKUs and ensure route completion according to the schedule
• Manage trade, shopper and consumer promotions and oversee pricing adherence and order reviews
• Forecast territory sales, develop sales strategies and models, and supervise and coach sales representatives
• Ensure efficient distribution, merchandising and seeding practices, and growth by SKU and segment
• Support and train sales staff, attend distributor sales clinics, and take minutes of meetings
• Monitor distributor operations, control the allocated budget, identify risks from channel or competitive changes, and ensure regulatory and group policy compliance
• Prepare and submit monthly reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field from a recognised university
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in FMCG sales and distribution
• Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and professionalism
• Self-starter with leadership potential and ability to drive learning and development

Required skills

• Knowledge of distributor management systems
• Advanced experience with MS Office
• Negotiation, analytical and numerical skills, planning and coordination, decision making
