Sales and Marketing Specialist (Kigoma)

About the role

The company seeks a Sales and Marketing Specialist to lead end‑to‑end sales and marketing initiatives for its salt products. The role involves coordinating logistics, managing export documentation, and building strong customer relationships across Tanzania and neighboring markets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute sales and marketing strategies for salt products.
• Coordinate movement of goods from factory to warehouse and onward for export, including lake/boat transport.
• Liaise daily with warehouse managers on stock levels and dispatch.
• Prepare and follow up on export documentation and customs clearance.
• Maintain and grow relationships with customers and report on sales performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related field.
• 7–10 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in salt, FMCG or manufacturing.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and develop new markets.
• Knowledge of the Tanzanian salt market and distribution networks is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Tanzania and neighboring countries.
