Technical Operator – Packaging

About the role

The Technical Operator – Packaging is responsible for operating and maintaining packaging machinery within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. You will ensure equipment runs safely, efficiently and meets the highest quality and hygiene standards while supporting the Asset Care team.

Key responsibilities

• Start‑up, operate, shut‑down and monitor equipment performance according to SOPs.
• Perform autonomous maintenance, preventive maintenance and condition‑based monitoring.
• Capture accurate production data and update reporting platforms.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, adhering to 5S principles.
• Deliver product that meets all quality and food‑safety requirements (Quality at Source).
• Conduct look‑listen‑feel inspections and generate work requests for any issues.
• Follow all Environment, Health and Safety procedures and standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Certificate in a relevant engineering discipline is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in operations, maintenance, process control or performance measurement in a brewery, drinks or food‑manufacturing setting.
• Flexibility to work in a shift‑based manufacturing environment.
