Tax Manager – Lead Tax Engagements

About the role

Our client, a leading audit and tax firm, is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead tax engagements from planning through completion. You will ensure full compliance with direct and indirect tax laws while delivering high‑quality advisory services to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage tax engagements from planning to completion.
• Ensure statutory compliance under direct and indirect taxes.
• Review tax computations, provisions, and returns.
• Handle tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise clients and internal teams.
• Drive tax efficiency initiatives such as VAT and WHT optimization.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, providing day‑to‑day tax advisory.
• Mentor, coach, and develop tax team members.
• Guarantee quality delivery, ethical compliance, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or ACCA qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Strong experience handling tax audits and tax cases.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and client‑management abilities.
