About the role
EB Consulting (EBS) is seeking experienced Field Work Data Collectors to support a three‑month research project on gender‑based violence and sexual‑reproductive health across multiple cities in Tanzania. You will work directly with hospitals and health facilities, gathering critical information that will inform regional policies and strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned hospitals, health centres, and medical facilities to conduct on‑site data collection.
- Interview facility management and staff to understand administrative and operational processes.
- Inspect and catalogue medical equipment present at each facility.
- Interview patients affected by gender‑based violence or sexual‑reproductive health issues, recording their experiences.
- Enter all collected data into the online data‑collection system in real time.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines for sensitive interviews.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, medicine, or a related health field.
- Previous experience in gender‑based violence or sexual‑reproductive health field research.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Professional handling of sensitive information with high confidentiality.
