Senior Sales and Marketing Executive

About the role

The company is a leading Tanzanian manufacturer and supplier of premium steel products serving construction, manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure and industrial sectors. The Senior Sales and Marketing Executive will drive new business, nurture client relationships and promote the brand across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction, manufacturing, engineering and industrial markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Conduct regular client visits to understand requirements and propose suitable product solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts and close sales deals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
• Promote products through presentations, exhibitions, networking events and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with production, logistics and customer service teams to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts and market analysis for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Commerce or a related field.
• 3–5 years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in steel, construction materials, manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong understanding of B2B sales and industrial marketing.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain long‑term business relationships.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and organizational skills.
