Senior Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

About the role

The Senior Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking will lead the management and growth of a portfolio of corporate banking clients in Dar es Salaam. Reporting to senior bank leadership, the role serves as the primary contact for client needs, driving business development and ensuring high‑quality service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new corporate banking opportunities to expand the client base.
• Structure, negotiate and implement financial solutions tailored to corporate clients.
• Monitor portfolio performance, conduct credit analysis and manage risk exposure.
• Prepare credit proposals, assess risk and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships through regular client visits, market research and strategic reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in corporate banking management or a related leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and expanding corporate client relationships.
• Strong knowledge of corporate banking products, credit analysis and Tanzanian regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities, with influence over senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or related field; professional certifications (CFA, ACCA) are a plus.
