Senior Machinery Sales Executive

About the role

Zoomlion Tanzania is seeking a Senior Machinery Sales Executive to lead national sales of construction and agricultural equipment. You will be responsible for driving revenue, expanding dealer networks, and managing key customer relationships across Tanzania.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve annual, quarterly and monthly sales and payment collection targets at the national level.
• Develop and execute strategies for product positioning, sales channels, after‑sales service and team growth.
• Onboard, develop and manage dealers and distribution partners throughout the country.
• Oversee showroom operations, product promotions and other retail marketing activities.
• Build and lead a local agricultural machinery sales team while coordinating with subsidiary departments.
• Identify and pursue government projects, large farms and other strategic business opportunities.
• Establish relationships with government authorities on subsidy programmes and work with Credit & Finance to create financing solutions for customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Agriculture, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of sales and market management experience in agricultural machinery, construction equipment or heavy machinery.
• Proven track record in market development, business expansion and customer relationship management.
• Existing dealer network or channel resources in the machinery sector is a strong advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and leadership abilities.
• English proficiency sufficient for daily business communication.
