Salesperson – Business Development for Interior Design & Fit‑Out

About the role

Talanta is looking for a results‑driven Salesperson to expand its Interior Design and Fit‑Out business in Tanzania. You will identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth across construction, hospitality, retail and office projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and qualify new business leads through cold calling, site visits and networking.
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects, including property owners, developers, architects and corporate clients.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and site assessments to understand requirements.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and follow‑up communications; negotiate commercial terms and support deal closure.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends; provide feedback on customer needs and upcoming projects.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and produce weekly sales activity reports.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate or a related field.
• At least 3 years of sales, business development or client‑facing experience.
• Experience in construction, real estate, interior design, furniture or hospitality sectors is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to work independently.
