Sales Officer – Financial Services

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads from existing customers, build referral networks, and cross‑sell loan products to achieve sales targets.
• Assess customers' financial needs, match them with appropriate loan solutions, and guide them through the application process.
• Evaluate creditworthiness, process loan documentation, and determine financial ratios within policy limits.
• Design realistic repayment plans based on borrowers' capacity and record data accurately in the loan management system.
• Deliver front‑office service that protects the brand and fosters long‑term loyalty.
• Manage partner‑referred leads and maintain strong relationships to ensure a steady pipeline.
• Contribute to performance reports that support strategic decisions.
• Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and lending guidelines.

Required profile

• Degree in business, finance, economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably in microfinance or lending.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and independent work capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solving mindset.
