Sales Manager (Airline) – Tanzania

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the airline’s commercial activities in Tanzania, building strong relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients and other industry partners to drive passenger revenue and market share.

Key responsibilities

• Drive ticket sales and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
• Develop and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators and ticketing partners, conducting regular market visits.
• Identify and onboard new travel partners capable of generating sales.
• Target corporate accounts, negotiate contracts and provide customized travel solutions.
• Support local marketing campaigns, represent the airline at trade events and enhance brand visibility.
• Coordinate administrative tasks and ensure smooth local operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in airline sales, aviation sales or the travel industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network within the Tanzanian travel and corporate sectors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
