Sales and Recovery Internship – Multiple Locations in Tanzania

About the role

The Internship Academy Programme offers recent graduates a structured pathway into banking, sales and collections. Interns will be placed in selected branches across Tanzania, working closely with branch managers and business teams to develop practical skills in customer acquisition, portfolio growth and debt recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and recruit new customers and promote bank products (Sales Interns).
• Support customer acquisition, field visits and business development initiatives (Sales Interns).
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records (Sales Interns).
• Follow up on overdue accounts and support collection activities (Recovery Interns).
• Conduct customer visits, negotiate repayments and maintain recovery records (Recovery Interns).
• Assist in monitoring portfolio quality and reducing delinquency (Recovery Interns).

Required profile

• Recent graduate with interest in banking, sales or collections.
• Ambitious and motivated to develop a career in the financial sector.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with branch teams.
