Registered Nurse – Inpatient PRN Days

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to provide PRN (as‑needed) inpatient care during day shifts. The position supports a fast‑paced operating‑room environment and delivers high‑quality medical‑surgical nursing to our patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform systematic assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Develop and prioritize goal‑directed care plans based on nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
• Implement care consistently, adhering to established protocols and emergency procedures.
• Document patient information accurately and promptly in the medical record.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team, attend mandatory in‑service trainings, and participate in staff meetings.
• Maintain compliance with BLS and ACLS certification requirements.
• Adapt to new policies, procedures, and patient‑rights standards.

Required profile

• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a phase II level of care.
• Organizational skills suitable for a fast‑paced OR setting.
• Completion of de‑escalation training within 30 days of hire.

Required skills

• BLS certification.
• ACLS (or ACLS) certification, or successful completion within 60 days of hire.
• Certification in CMSRN (preferred).
