About the role
The Regional Sales Lead will drive sales growth and profitability across Tanzania, Zambia, Mozambique, Rwanda, Malawi, Uganda and Kenya. Based in Tunduma or Dar‑es‑Salaam, you will develop and execute sales strategies, build key customer relationships and lead a team to meet ambitious targets.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed regional sales targets.
- Manage, coach and motivate the sales team to reach individual and collective goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and channel partners.
- Analyse sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and IT to drive sales initiatives.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends within the region.
- Drive the customer acquisition process and increase utilization of existing and new corridors.
- Travel across the assigned territories to manage team output and engage with customers.
Required profile
- Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sales or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years industry experience and at least 3 years in a management role.
- Previous experience in a multinational company is advantageous.
- Valid driver’s licence and passport.
- Strong leadership, excellent communication and analytical mindset.
