Regional Business Leader – Lake Zone

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a senior leader to drive business performance and strategic execution across the Lake Zone. The role will translate corporate priorities into profitable growth, superior customer experience, digital and financial inclusion, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own regional P&L, managing revenue, margin, market share, subscriber growth and disciplined CAPEX/OPEX.
• Translate enterprise strategy into integrated regional plans for Consumer, M‑Pay, Enterprise and Technology.
• Drive customer growth and loyalty through sales excellence, digital adoption and network performance.
• Represent Vodafone Tanzania at senior level, building trusted relationships with government, regulators, partners and communities.
• Lead a high‑performing, inclusive regional organisation, ensuring governance, risk, safety and compliance.

Required profile

• Commercial and strategic leadership with strong P&L accountability.
• Deep knowledge of telecommunications, digital services, financial services, sales and distribution, and Tanzania market dynamics.
• Data‑driven decision‑making, stakeholder influence and change leadership.
• Proven ability to lead diverse, cross‑functional and geographically dispersed teams.
