Quality Control Officer

About the role

A client of Shugulika Africa Limited is looking for a detail-oriented, process-driven Quality Control Officer to join its manufacturing and production team in Morogoro. The role monitors production processes, inspects materials and finished products and ensures compliance with quality standards and regulations, helping to reduce defects and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet required quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor production processes, identify deviations or inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct routine quality audits and prepare detailed reports for management to support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and improve manufacturing procedures.
• Maintain and update quality control documentation, including inspection checklists, test results and compliance records.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Management or a related field.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in quality control or assurance within manufacturing or production.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Kiswahili, for reporting and teamwork.
• Strong attention to detail and polished reporting and documentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain professional relationships across departments.
