Process Engineer / CCR Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Process Engineer / CCR Operator to monitor and control the cement production line from the Central Control Room. The role ensures stable equipment operation, employee safety, and compliance with standards while supporting shift teams to achieve production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor all sections of the production line from the Central Control Room and provide guidance to patrollers and operators.
• Log process data at specified intervals and report operational activities.
• Ensure smooth operation of crushers, raw mills, kiln, and cement mills by giving constant feedback to shift coordinators and engineers.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot operating problems, either independently or in consultation with senior staff.
• Review the plant automation system and recommend improvements based on best practices.
• Prepare clear and concise reports on work undertaken.
• Supervise casual staff to keep conveyor belts clean and free from jams.
• Achieve cement and clinker production targets during the shift.

Required profile

• BSc in Chemical and Processing Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Ability to pay attention to detail and work safely in an industrial environment.
