Packaging Process Operator

About the role

The Packaging Process Operator is responsible for running and optimizing packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. You will work on both manual and automated lines, monitor performance, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Implement production plans and keep processes efficient.
• Operate manual and automated packaging machinery according to standards.
• Monitor production trends, take corrective actions, and ensure product quality.
• Track production data, generate reports, and keep documentation up to date.
• Perform autonomous maintenance and minor machine troubleshooting.
• Use structured problem‑solving methods (QFRs, 5 WHYs) to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with the team to optimise machine performance and report findings.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Technical qualification and experience operating packaging machinery.
• Completed 9‑month on‑the‑job training and SKAP within 12 months.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑energy production environment.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
