Packaging Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Packaging Operator to join our production team and ensure smooth operation of packaging equipment. The role focuses on maintaining high product quality, maximizing throughput, and minimizing waste in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate packaging processes, including machine start‑up, shutdown and running.
• Manage waste handling and perform brand/pack changes.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Carry out in‑depth cleaning and first‑level equipment maintenance.
• Monitor process performance and conduct quality checks.
• Control production inputs, take corrective actions and support problem‑solving.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers and suppliers.
• Participate actively in team meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Alert and quick to respond to out‑of‑control situations.
• Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving ability.
• Team player, self‑starter and good communicator.
• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Trade test qualification in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Previous experience in a packaging process environment.
