Operations Manager – Luxury Lodge

About the role

Are you an aspiring Operations Manager with a passion for luxury hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences? You will support senior management in the day‑to‑day running of Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior management in overall lodge operations and daily order placement.
• Assist in training and developing staff and ensure uniform compliance.
• Oversee Food & Beverage service standards and beverage control.
• Manage guest check‑in/out, room inspections and respond to special dietary or medical needs.
• Coordinate guest itineraries, activities and daily “guest delights”.
• Lead the green team and conservation initiatives, and contribute to social media and PR communication.
• Maintain administrative functions, monitor staffing schedules and ensure brand standards are visible throughout the lodge.
• Participate in management meetings and update lodge styling guides.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of experience in lodge operations, guest relations, and Food & Beverage.
• Higher Diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management.
• Fluent in English (oral and written) and computer literate.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive work ethic and ability to work under pressure.
