Night Manager – TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar

About the role

As the Night Manager at TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar, you will be the senior on‑site representative during night hours, ensuring seamless operations, guest satisfaction, and strict adherence to financial and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all night‑time functions including Front Office, Security, Housekeeping (night operations) and on‑call Engineering.
• Handle VIP guests, resolve complaints and manage service recovery at a managerial level.
• Conduct full night audit, reconcile revenues, and prepare daily financial, occupancy and management reports.
• Enforce financial controls, SOPs and ensure compliance with TUI BLUE standards and Tanzanian labour legislation.
• Manage emergencies, incidents and security matters, coordinating with local authorities when required.
• Prepare comprehensive hand‑over reports for the morning Executive Team.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a Night Manager or senior Front Office agent in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel.
• Fluent in English and the local language, with strong communication skills.
• Proven operational, financial and people‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ALICE property management system.
• Proficiency with OPERA property management system.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
