About the role
The role focuses on defining, developing and implementing brewery‑wide microbiological standards and work practices to ensure compliance with process and product specifications. You will work within the AB InBev manufacturing environment, applying microbiology expertise to support safe and high‑quality production.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out sampling according to documented methods and ensure sample integrity.
- Prepare, dispatch and analyse samples using fundamental laboratory techniques.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment following prescribed frequencies and record calibration data.
- Record, report and review analytical results, adhering to standard manuals and non‑conformance procedures.
- Follow PPE policies, handle chemicals and hazardous substances safely, and report incidents as required.
- Support achievement of VPO, quality KPI and PI targets for the site.
Required profile
- Good knowledge of microbiology laboratory systems, processes and analyses.
- Experience applying problem‑solving techniques and statistics.
- Understanding of HACCP, GMP standards and CIP requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
