Local Sales Manager – Tanzania

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Local Sales Manager to lead our agro‑chemical sales and distribution across Tanzania. You will be responsible for expanding market presence, managing distributor relationships, and driving revenue growth for our product portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales plans aligned with annual targets.
• Expand channels, maintain distributor partnerships, and liaise with large‑scale farm clients.
• Coordinate product stocking, client visits, field demonstrations, and promotional events.
• Oversee order processing, pricing, competitor analysis, and receivable collection.
• Lead, train, and support the local sales team to improve sales volume and brand influence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in agro‑chemical sales within the Tanzanian market.
• Strong knowledge of local crop diseases, pests, sales channels, and distributor networks.
• Fluent in English and Swahili with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, travel extensively, and develop new client relationships independently.
• Preference for candidates with existing farm resources, distributor networks, or team‑management experience.
