Kitchen Assistant

About the role

The Kitchen Assistant supports the Head Chef in delivering high‑quality food that meets company standards. Working in a fast‑paced kitchen environment, you will help ensure that all food preparation, hygiene, and safety procedures are consistently followed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare dishes according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food‑preparation areas.
• Monitor food supplies, reporting shortages or quality concerns to the Head Chef.
• Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures as defined by company policy.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and inventorying food deliveries and kitchen supplies.
• Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to foster a positive team environment.
• Execute instructions from the Head Chef or senior kitchen personnel.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Head Chef or management.
