Internet Sales Representative (Commission Based)

About the role

The Internet Sales Representative works on-site in Dodoma to promote Kinetic Networks’ internet and connectivity solutions. The role focuses on prospecting new customers, presenting tailored services and closing sales to achieve individual and team targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers for internet, fiber optic and networking services.
• Present and explain solutions, handling objections and negotiating contracts.
• Follow up on leads, maintain ongoing customer relationships and provide after‑sales support.
• Assist customers with service upgrades, changes or new installations.
• Coordinate with technical teams to ensure smooth service delivery and implementation.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, report performance metrics and update CRM tools.
• Stay informed on product offerings, industry trends and competitive landscape.

Required profile

• Strong sales and customer service abilities, including prospecting, negotiation and relationship building.
• Basic understanding of ICT and telecommunications services such as internet connectivity, fiber optics and networking equipment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to simplify technical concepts.
• Motivation to work toward commission‑based targets and manage multiple interactions daily.
• Proficiency with standard computer applications and online reporting or lead‑tracking tools.
• Previous experience in field sales, retail or telecom sales is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and local languages commonly used in Dodoma.
• Minimum high school diploma; further education in business, marketing or ICT is a plus.
