Industrial Welder & Fabrication Technician

About the role

The company is seeking a skilled Technician Welder to perform welding, fabrication, repair and maintenance on production machines and factory equipment. The role ensures safe operations, equipment reliability and compliance with production and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions and fabrication specifications.
• Prepare metal materials through cutting, grinding and cleaning before welding.
• Operate welding machines and related fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Inspect welded joints for quality, strength and defects, performing rework as needed.
• Repair damaged metal parts and support maintenance and fabrication activities.
• Assist in the fabrication, installation and modification of production equipment and structures.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, tools and equipment.
• Report machine faults, material shortages and safety concerns promptly.
• Support preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a welder in an industrial production environment.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.
• Good attention to detail and workmanship quality.
• Basic communication and teamwork skills.
