Electrical Specialist & Technical Trainer (Mwanza)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Electrical Specialist and Technical Trainer to join our team in Mwanza, Tanzania. The role involves maintaining and repairing Sandvik mining equipment, delivering technical training, and supporting customers on site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installation, inspection, repair and commissioning of electrical equipment and components at customer sites and Sandvik premises.
• Deliver technical training for Sandvik operations and guide colleagues on service methods and tools.
• Document and report service actions, provide technical advice, and suggest improvements to customer processes.
• Maintain and manage tools and equipment required for service work.
• Support customers with troubleshooting, problem solving and feedback on product performance.

Required profile

• Trade qualification or equivalent experience in electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in mining equipment maintenance, including at least 1 year with Sandvik underground or crushing equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Sandvik crushers, loaders, haulage trucks and drilling equipment.
• Good command of English, analytical skills and attention to detail.
